Terry LaRussa Banton ---- Director

Terry La Russa Banton, Director, graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with an M.F.A. in Acting and Directing. She has been Director for the Bellevue School District Youth Theatre since 1986 when she directed, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. She has directed each summer's production since up to and including The Kind and I (1985) and Oliver! (1986).

She is an accomplished musician who composed the original scores for Land of the Dragon, Help, Help, the Globolinks!, Alice in Wonderland, and The Phantom Tollbooth. Terry has been a teacher with the Bellevue School District since 19__ and is currently Director of Music at Bellevue's Odle Middle School.

Her favorite role to date is that of mother to six year old Christina -- who is appearing as a Lassie in this year's production of Brigadoon.
