Kent Banton ---- Music Director and Conductor
Kent Banton, Music Director and Condutor, is a Northwest
performer, teacher, and musical director. He has performed with numerous
professional companies, including the Seattle Opera and the Seattle Symphony.
He graduated from the University of Tulsa and has a Master's Degree in
Vocal Performance an Pedagogy from the Stephen F. Austin State University
in Texas. He joined the Bellevue School District Youth Theatre in
the role of Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof and is now in his ninth
year as Music Director and Conductor.
During the year, Kent works as a Secondry Vocal Music
Specialist with the Bellevue School District and also gives private voice
lessons. He, and Terry LaRussa Banton are the proud parents of Christina
Banton who is the youngest member of this year's cast of Brigadoon.
