In my humble opinion the best show I've been to all year!!

What happens when you throw a bunch of killer skateboarders and 14 great punk/ska bands together?
You get this years Warped Tour, featuring such bands as NOFX, Deftones, Fishbone, and CIV on the Main Stage. While Rocket From The Crypt, Lagwagon, and the Dance Hall Crashers rip it up on the Second Stage.

-=\ CIV /=-
A rockin' HardCore/Punk band, always puts on a killer show. I've seen them three times, each time it's been a better show than the previous one. How they do it is beyond me.
This time was no exception!!!

The Deftones!!!
This was my first time seeing them. Let me tell ya, THEY KICK SOME SERIOUS BUTT!! The singer jumps all over, screaming lyrics ferociously into his mike while his band plays like mad, keeping the adrenaline level pumped to the extreme.
Definitely the most rockimg band on the tour!

Fishbone
These guys have been around. They did Lollapolooza a couple years back. Then they faded away. Now they're back stronger then ever. After completing the Warped Tour they began playing all over the West Coast. Missed their tour but I'm sure they'll be back.

Lagwagon
These guys are total old school style punk, mohawks and all. These guys beat the pants off any second stage band and even some of the main stage ones. I would definitely check these guys out. With the talent they have they're sure to go far.
The lead singer is all into the Herny Rollins look.

NOFX
One of the few Old School punk bands n the tour, these guys have been eveywhere. For good reason, they kick ass. I always check this band out when they're in town. Despite the guitarist having a Red Hook bottle whizz by just inches from his face the show rocked. As we watched the blazing sun sink beneath the concrete freeway overpasses our hearts and souls were filled with the blasting punk rock sound of NOFX.

Pennywise
Live and direct from San Diego, this punk band seemed to be the most antsy. The lead singer jumped into the crowd, not once but twice. The fans went nuts as he strolled down the barricade wall encouraging the crowd to sing with him. Security was freaking out. Anyway Pennywise put on a great show. I was very impressed and definitely want to see them again.
I really get a kick out of the center one. It's so perfect.

The Fans / The Skaters
I can't believe I got this on film. I caught up with him at a later show and asked him about it.
I guess they threw him out of the show. Ya got to admit it was a bold move.
This
guy was hella cool. Keep the faith man!
This has got to be one of the best punk outfits I have ever seen.
It was so perfect I had to take a picture.
This
skater caught some serious air. Beautiful execution, perfect 10.
Finally we see Bill (King of Olympia) moshing face to face with Kurt Blotch of the Fastbacks.
I spotted all but one of the Fastbacks roaming among the Warped Tour crowd.

In retrospect this show was one of the best EVER. Trust me, I've been to a lot of shows. This one topped them all.
I would like to thank Jitter Magazine and The University Reporter for pulling strings and getting me in..
